Yesterday I picked up a set of B6 Audi A4 wheels with Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires. Anyone care to guess how much I paid?
Wheels are 17x7.5 ET45. Tires are 235/45R17 94H.

Those look pretty sharp!
$100?
Also, I think you MIGHT be able to put the OEM VW centercaps in those. Don’t quote me on that though.

GODDAMNIT >:(
How did you know?!
Also, I like the Audi center cap. A lot. But I don’t know why... probably because they are a pain in the ass to switch out?

Haha, same price I’m trying to sell my old B5 A4s stock wheels for...
They are a pain to switch out, you actually have to go around back of the wheel while it’s off and try to pop them out without breaking them.

Wait, what do the B5 wheels look like? Also, look at the tread on the tires (click the magnifying glass, they are MUCH better)

Wow, that’s really good tread actually. How did you manage to get them for so little?
These are the wheels I’m trying to sell. More than anything, I just want them out of my garage since I replaced my B5 A4 with a C5 A6 and no longer need the wheels from the A4. I’m also going to be getting new wheels for the A6 and would rather not have 8 wheels just sitting around.

The seller listed them on our local VW club facebook page for $100. I offered buy them within an hour. He says they are in storage and not in great shape...
he gets some pics later that day (Friday night) and says they are actually in great condition, but he will still sell them for $100 if I’m still interested. All I had to do was drive 100 miles to Tulsa.
And that is how they ended up on my car...
Also, the tires are 6 years old, but haven’t dry rotted AT ALL! They are basically brand new! (Yes, I’ve put around 75 miles on them already!)

I assume that you checked tire pressure? Lol.

Yeah, first thing I did was fill them to 35 psi each (they were at around 20 before)
After I put them on I checked again and they were all between 35 and 37
After I went out for a drive they were all around 39 psi
(I also had all 4 of my other wheels in the car too, so if anything would have gone wrong I could just swap them back out)

Didn't you just get wheels like 3 months ago?

6 months ago... But these were too good of a deal to pass on
